Part 35 & 36 -Mehandi

Part 35

Khanak is breathing heavily, Shaan comes closer to her,  moves her hair to one side, he touches the back of her neck, she shivers at his touch, he's gently caressing her back, Khanak has closed her eyes…….
He turns her back to face him, she slowly opened her eyes, her head bent down, he makes her look at him, cups her face,this time he's not holding her, Khanak sees it, Shaan can suddenly see a mischief glint on her eyes, before he could figure it out, she escapes from his hold, runs out of the room, giggling….
Shaan smiles at her mescheivousness, kaha jaogi, aakir mein mere paas hi aana he tumhe….. moves out and looks for her, she's joined her friends, Dhruv and Raj making fun of dance, even Nirav, Misha's husband have joined them, she's laughing and dancing with Aayush, Akshay, Khushboo have also joined them, Khanak pulls sunil, madhvi and dadi for dancing, he shakes his head at her naughtiness…..
Shaan, in his mind, abhi todi der pehle, she was behaving like a caring mother, but now, khud ek bachchi hain, phir bhi, apne bachche ke khaayal ke bare mein bhulthi nahi hain…..
After that, Khandelwals had to leave, as it was late night, Khanak is not allowed to sleep by her friends, she's pulled by her friends to the terrace, even Aayush is not ready for sleeping….
Khanak: (dhruv is pulling her) dhruv!! Kya kar rahe ho??? Mujhe sona hain!! (tired)
All of them are seated, Aayush is sitting on Misha's lap, Nirav next to her, Dhruv seats next to Nirav, pulls Khanak next to him, Raj in between Khanak and Misha…
Khanak: Aayush!! Tumhe bhi sona nahi hain??? Aayush shakes his head in negative, Khanak makes a crying face, as she's extremely tired, because of the amount of dancing she had done and all the amount of bhaag dhod, but her friends had done more of that, but they are not feeling sleepy, that's strange!!!
Raj: dekh Khanak tera yeh puppy cute face sab Shaan ko dikhna hamari saamne yeh sab nahi chalne wala hain!!
Khanak: voh kaha sunta hain!!
Dhruv: kya kaha???
Khanak: kuch nahi!! Aap abhi kasht karenge (before completing)
Nirav: kya karenge???
Khanak: aap kam the!!! (fake smile) mera matlab mujhe kyun bhulaaya hain????
Misha: arrey Khanak do din mein tumhari shaadi hain, obviously tumhe kal sona toh padega, toh humne socha aaj tumhe jaga de!!! Hamare saath time spend karne ke liye!! (Khanak is confused, as well as others except Nirav)
Raj: (can't control) kyun?? I mean, Khanak ko kal kyun sona hain?? Maine aur Dhruv ne kal ke liye bhi plan banake rakha hain, hai na Dhruv???
Dhruv: haan!!! (no idea) arrey yeah!! (suddenly gets into) Raj agar kal Khanak nahi soyi then shaadi ke baad problem hoga na!!! (hints)
Raj first wonders and then settles to him, Khanak is still wondering, Aayush is a spectator, keeps on moving his head to see everyone!!!!
Dhruv: ek minute kuch mazaak karte hain!!! Mish r u ready?? Everyone's eyes lit up…..
Khanak: kya kar rahe ho??? Dhruv tells her to be silent, picks Nirav's phone, calls, puts it in loudspeaker, signals mish to speak , its Shaan…
Shaan: (wonders who's number is that) Hello (slowly)
Mish: hey Shaan!!! (slowly, husky, in her sexy voice) Khanak recognizes the voice of Shaan, she's about to yell into the phone, Raj covers her mouth, Aayush giggles into his hands, he's also involved in pulling Shaan's legs…
Shaan: sorry?? Do I know you???
Mish: offcourse u know me Shaan!!! Bhul gaye na mujhe?? (in her sexy voice) All are controlling their laughter, Khanak is struggling under the pressure of  Raj's hand on her mouth….
Shaan: I think it's a wrong number….
Mish: no Shaan!! This is right number!! Mein tumhara pehla pyaar!!
Shaan: pehla pyaar?? Sorry you've mistaken!! (goes to cut the call)
Mish: no Shaan, don't cut the call!! (Shaan wonders who's that) hum London mein pehle miley the, don't u remember???
Shaan: London mein??? No its perfectly a wrong call!! (he hears giggling) Aayush couldn't control, his giggles were heard, Shaan senses may be that was a ploy for him, he decides to play along….
Shaan: oh yeah!! Lisa!!! So nice to hear from you!!
Mish covers the phone, so that he can't hear, everyone whisper Lisa!!, Raj now leaves Khanak's mouth…
Dhruv: Khanak tu toh gayi!! Khanak's anger is raising, now she's fully aroused. Everyone tells Mish to continue!!
Mish: yes!! Im lisa!! See u remember!! (Shaan controls his laugh)
Shaan: how r u?? Im missing you a lot!!!
Khanak blood starts to boil at that statement….Mish continues…
Mish: I miss you too (all naughtiness faded)
Shaan: so where r u now?? (continues)
Mish: im in Mumbai!!
Shaan: oh yeah!! Then we should meet, how about for tmrw's lunch???? All are shocked….
Mish: lunch?? Are you sure?? I heard your getting married?!
Shaan: ya!! That wouldn't be a problem!! Kal milte hain!! So where do want us to meet??
Raj: yeh toh date ke liye plan kar raha hain!! (smiles broadly, Khanak glares at him, he goes quite after seeing Khanak's expression)
That's it, Khanak has lost it, she pulls the phone to her…
Khanak: date ke liye plan bana rahe ho?? (sarcastic)
Shaan: hey what happened to your voice??? Waise yeh awaaz suni si lag rahi hain!! Why r u sounding like Khanak???
Khanak: nice to know Dr. Shaantanu Khandelwal, that you've started to compare me with others (fuming)
Shaan: hey Khanak!!! (coolly)
Khanak: who's lisa???
Shaan: Lisa?? Koi nahi hain Khanak, I was just… (is not allowed to speak further)
Khanak: good to know, that you had a crush!! Not allowing him to talk, she threw the phone, Dhruv catches it, picks Aayush in her arms, moves inside with him, all are regretting the idea of fun…..
Shaan (into the phone): hey Khanak listen, I was joking!!!!
Dhruv: Shaan your dead!!
Shaan: what??
Raj: dude, you've got a sulking would be wife!!!
Shaan: is she angry??
Nirav: you can't even imagine!!!
Shaan: freak!! Guys yeh karna zaroori tha???
Raj: oye humne lisa ka naam liya tha??
Shaan: guys voh sab chodo, now tell how am I suppose to convince her???
Dhruv: nothing you've to show the proof that you don't know any girl named Lisa!!!
Shaan: proof???
Mish: Shaan inn logon ki baat mat suno, be honest and tell her the truth!!!
Shaan: I guess I have to do that!! Mish can you confirm and tell that she's fine!!
Nirav: tum call karo usse!!
Shaan: ok!! Thanks for the wonderful night guys!! Sab achche se sona haan!! (sarcastic, and cuts the call)
Raj: did he wish us good night???
Dhruv: oh yes he did!!!! (sarcastic) chalo bhai hum bhi chalthe hain!!!
Khanak on the other hand, was successful to put Aayush into sleep, Shaan had called her, she deliberately had cut the call and offed her phone, and layed down to sleep…..
Shaan is pacing in his room, tensed what he should do, he had never seen her switching off her phone, but now she had done that, he scolds himself for putting her in tension he thinks she would be crying, but somewhere he liked her possessiveness, but now he wonders how to talk to her….




Part 36


Misha and others saw her happily moving around, Raj is very curious, he pulls her to ask, others also joined'
Raj: Khanak r u alright??? (slowly)
Khanak: yeah!! Im fine!!(smiling)yeh listen, maine aur DD ne aaj ka mehandi ka function jaldi rakka hain!!
Dhruv: kyun???
Khanak: kyun ki aaj raat maine party ke liye plan banaya hain, we've decided to have a youngsters party before the marriage, maza aayega na, thing is Shaan aur uske dost bhi aayenge!! But we'll rock!! (smiles cheekily and winks)
Raj comes closer touches her forehead as though he's checking whether she has fever or not'
Khanak: raj what r u doing??? (removes his hand)
Misha: Khanak, tum teek ho na??? u remember last night's incident na???
Khanak watches everyone carefully'
Dhruv: Khanak tumhe kahi amnesia toh nahi hogaya??!! (makes a face)
Khanak: guys hold it!!! Mujhe yaad hain, sab teek hain!!!
Raj: explain Khanak!!! (restless)
Khanak: ok fine!!!
Flash back-
After lying down, a lone tear had flowed down her cheek, but she got up suddenly, as though she knew her destination, she wiped her tear, covered Aayush with blanket, moved out of the house, while going she had encountered DD, she had promised DD that she'll be back early, DD trusted her, he allowed her to go, but he's not sure about that, so he just stays out of the door'.
Khanak takes her car and moves towards Shaan's house. Shaan is pacing here and there, he had tried so much to talk to her, but his efforts were in vain!! His phone rings, he receives it in the first ring, as it was from Khanak!!
Shaan: Khanak im sorry, I was'.(not allowed to complete his statement)
Khanak: Shaan!! Neeche aao!!!
Shaan: what??
Khanak: abhi ke abhi neeche aao!! (Shaan has no words, he runs downstairs and moves towards the garden)
Shaan: Khanak!! Kaha ho?? (tap on his shoulder)
Shaan turns back, and he's surprised to see her there, at the late hour of night, she stands coolly as though that was the coolest thing to do!!!!
Shaan: Khanak have you lost it!! Itni raat ko akele kyu aayi??? Agar kuch ho jaatha toh?? (yells at her)
Khanak: (coolly) I need explanation Shaan!!! (arms folded across in front)
Shaan: Khanak!! (cools himself) kabhi kabhi aise harkate karti ho!! Mujhe toh yakeen nahi hotha hain ki  tum vahi bholi bhali khanak ho!!
Khanak:Shaan im waiting!!!
Shaan: (holds her shoulders) Khanak I was just joking!!! I knew that someone was playing with me, so I just payed along (honest)
Khanak is just looking at him, she's calm, Shaan continues'.
Shaan: Khanak trust me, you're the first girl in my life, and you'll be the last one, I promise!!!!
Khanak slowly smiles, her eyes filled with tears. Shaan also smiles, and she comes closer and hugs him, he hugs her back!!!
Khanak: im sorry!!! (speaks into his chest) Shaan smiles, hugs her tight!!!
Shaan: kya tum aisa hi hon?? (mocks)
Khanak: tumhari wajah se main aisi bann gayi hun !!
Shaan: (laughs) achcha tumhe yaha aate hua kisi ne dekha nahi??? (feels her hair)
Khanak: haan DD ne dekha!!! 
Shaan: aur unhone kuch nahi kaha??
Khanak: nahi!!! (moves out of the hug and shrugs)
Khanak: teek hain, main chalthe hun, bahut der hogayi hain!! (turns around)
He holds her wrist, abb ayigai ho, toh ek good night kiss de do!! (smiling mischievously)
Khanak: kiss?? Dream on Shaan!! (she tries to pull her wrist back)but Shaan's grip is strong'
Shaan: dream main nahi khanak!! Abhi issi waqt'.
Before she knows, he has pulled her and kissed her hardly on lips, a body tingling kiss, showing his passion for her, she was at first shocked but then she had enjoyed it and had responded''
After sometime Khanak had come back to her house, Shaan had dropped her,  DD was waiting for her, but he had felt happy when he saw Shaan had come to leave her. After that Shaan had bid bye to both of them. Khanak had spent time with DD, that's when they decided of the party'..
(Flashback over)
Raj and others are in shock, that she literally had gone to him at that late night, was she the same Khanak'.Khanak had to shake her hands in front of them to bring them back to the reality (and she has not told about the kiss!!!)
Mehandi function has started, as scheduled it was preponed early, Shaan is wearing another shervani, looking dashing as always, he had to put a mehandi shagun on his hand, but he's denying it'.
Shaan: Mom please!! Aap ko pata hain mujhe uske khushboo hi achchi nahi laghti, dadi!! Aap toh bolo'
Sunil: no Shaan nahi chalega!! Bus thoda sa hi dhalna hain beta!!
Shaan: Dad!! (wines, Khanak comes down, in her attire, looking gorgeous, Shaan has forgotten that, he was forced to sit for mehandi, since he was just looking at her, Khandelwals use the chance and draws the shagun on his hand, he realizes it when all of them laughs at him, Shaan makes a face at everyone!!)
Khanak smiles at him, she's surrounded by many girls, all are seated, they started to draw mehandi on her hand'
Khushboo: Chalo Shaan, kuch gaao!!
Shaan: kya??
Khushboo: aur nahi toh kya, comeon Shaan entertain karo!!! All of them  cheered him'
Shaan: ok fine!!! But on one condition!!
Misha: aur voh kya hai???
Shaan: kuch nahi, bus Khanak ko mera saath gaana hain!!
Everyone teases the new couple, and then Shaan starts'.

Dhruv continues, Khanak had fallen for Shaan, but the thing was, she was not in the state of accept her own feelings, she had decided to move away from him, but still day by day, her feelings had grown strong, so we'll be representing that state of Khanak, so Khanak your ready??

Shaan's a bit upset and also happy, they were not given time, this time Shaan, Khanak and Aayush onto the dance floor, music starts Shaan and Khanak gets on to music and even Aayush too…

After this all are on the dance floor, Aayush is now in arms of Dhruv,  songs are continued, Shaan sees the moment and pulls Khanak to a room, Khanak is shocked!!! He pulls her into a room, locks it…
Khanak: Shaan kya kar rahe ho???
Shaan: madam agar tumhe yaad nahi to mein tumhe yaad diladoon, hum ek doosre ko mile hue paanch din hogaye hain!!
Khanak: (suppresses her smile) haan toh…
Shaan: toh…(pulls her to him, his hands for the first time, daringly keeps on her bare waiste)
They are close enough, her hands on his shoulders, his one hand cups her face, his ragged breath mixes with hers, he slowly pecks on her forehead…
Shaan: I missed you!!!!
Khanak: me too!!! Lips are brought close, he slowly pecks on her lips, she has closed her eyes, her lips parted, giving him invitation to go further, he kisses her this time patiently, hand on her waiste pulls her more close, her hands this time rove on his hair, giving both of them immense pleasure…..
After sometime, which seemed like after some minutes, they broke the kiss, both are breathless…
Shaan: Khanak!! (breathless)
Khanak has lost her speech, she just looks at him…
Shaan: you seriously don't have any idea how badly I missed you!!!  She closes his mouth, before he could tell anything, she hugs him, her head neatly rested on his chest, he smiles at her and hugs her like as though he would never allow her to go away from him….
Shaan: Khanak your missing your parents right???
Khanak, is surprised, yes she was missing them,  she was imagining things going under her father and brother's assistance, they would have filled her emptiness, which she's feeling now for them…
But when Shaan had sung for her, she had dismissed the idea, she had enjoyed how he had involved Aayush into it!!!
Since she didn't answer, Shaan thought he should change the topic, may be that would ease her…
Shaan: waise tumhara skin, bahut smooth hai!!! (smiles devilishly, fiddles with her waiste band)
Khanak smiles, but when he had touched, she had felt uncomfortable, she felt as though she'll be losing all her senses, the same is happening now!!!
Shaan: u don't have any idea how badly im controlling my senses….
Khanak moves out of the hug, gives him a confused expression..
Shaan: (holds her arms) aur nahi toh kya, your looking so sexy, but still I can't enjoy the full of you!!
Khanak (embarrassed): shaan!! (turns away)
Shaan hugs her from back,
Shaan: tum mere liye kuch nahi kahogi???
Khanak: (smiles naughtily, turns to him, her hands on his shoulders) your looking hot!!! (husky)
Shaan: haaye haaye!!!! (hugs once again)
Shaan: mann karta hain main tumhe kabhi nahi jaane do!!!!
Khanak: (moves out)lekin jaana toh padega, hamari sangeet hain!!!
Shaan: who toh hain, but is sab ka badla main shaadi ke baad loonga!!! (pulls her by her waiste)
Khanak: badla??
Shaan: aur nahi toh kya, deklena main tumhe bahar jaane tak nahi dunga!!
Khanak: shaan you are becoming insane!! (struggling to get out of his hold)
Khanak: Shaan shaayad tum bhul rahe ho, Aayush bhi hain, hamari life main!!
Shaan: tumse kisne kaha, mein Aayush ko bhul chukka hoon, dekhlena Aayush bhi mera side hi lega!!
Khanak: voh shaadi ke baad dekhlenge, abb mujhe chodo!! (still struggling)



Part 34


Khanak: Shaan please!!!
Shaan: bas thodi der!! (pulls her back)
Khanak: Shaan I see your thoughts getting wilder!!! (shakes her head)
Shaan: you can't even imagine (makes her lean on the wall, he's crushing her, his hands still roving around her waiste)
Shaan: achcha I wanted to ask you an important question!!
Khanak: and whats that?? (slowly interlinks her fingers behind his neck)
Shaan: (groans, as he finds immense pleasure in that) yahi ki shaadi ke baad kaha jaane chahthi ho?? (his eyebrows dancing)
Khanak is shy, she turns away to avoid his gaze, her cheeks have turned red, Shaan is enjoying'
Shaan: bolo na Khanak!! Khanak tuns to him, as something hits her'
Khanak: hum bahar kaise jaa saktha hain???
Shaan: kaise jaa sakthe hain?? Matlab??
Khanak: Dr. Shaantanu Khandelwal, shaayad aap bhu rahe hain meri exams hain!!!
Shaan: haayyee!! Jab bhi tum mera pura naam leti ho na Khanak, mujhe bahut achcha lagtha hain!!
Khanak: don't divert Shaan!!
Shaan: ok!! Khanak pura 3 months hain. Hum sirf pandrah din ke liye jaayenge!! (coolly)
Khanak: pandrah din??? Have you lost it?? Aayush ka kya karein??
Shaan: mein Aayush  ko kaise bhul saktha hun!! Voh actually bhaiyya has promised that, he'll be taking care, aur bhabhi ko bhi koi problem nahi hain, aur mom dad, dadi sab hain!!!
Khanak: Lekin Shaan, Aayush nahi reh payeega!!
Shaan: Khanak don't you think he's growing, deklena voh  khud kahega, that he wants to be alone!!!
Khanak feels sad at that statement, she withdraws her hand, her face falls, she looks down, Shaan is wonders whether he had spoken something wrong, no, that's how kids are growing'..
Khanak: toh kya Aayush'. I mean'..
Shaan: Khanak!! (cups her face) i meant that voh apne friends ke saath close hoga, voh apne aap se rehna lagega!!
Khanak: itni jaldi???
Shaan: ho saktha hain, agar aaj nahi toh kal, ek na ek din toh voh aisa hi bolega!!!
Khanak is worried, that he'll be moving away from her, his naughtiness will be changing, maybe Shaan's right, she had decided that she would give him his private time to enjoy his life, but still the thought of Aayush going away from her fears her!!! She hugs Shaan,he hugged her back,
 Shaan didn't wanted to end like this, but he couldn't help, that's the truth, she had to live with it, and he'll be there for both of them!!!
Khanak: Thanks Shaan!!
Shaan: thanks kyun???
Khanak: sab ke liye, I don't know, how I am going to make up for all such beautiful things??

After sometime, both of them had joined the group back, Khanak had seen Aayush completely enjoying with Akshay bhaiyya, rock song going on background, Aayush sees her, he pulls both of them on to the dance floor, Khanak tries to smile, Shaan slowly goes out of the group, Khanak makes moves with her son, she's got into the truth, even she was the same when she was young, does this feeling was normal, she couldn't ask anyone!!! May be at that time even her mother would have felt, but now even she had to admit that Aayush's growing!!!!
Shaan wanted to make the situation cool for Khanak, he knew the only way he could distract her, by his own way, if he makes his feelings strong for her, then she would divert her mind towards him'
Lights  are dimmed, Dhruv picks Aayush and moves away from the centre, Khanak is confused, all are moved aside, she's alone  in the centre'..
Shaan holds the mike, and the last song is from myside to my beloved''..
Shaan comes near her, kneels in front of her,puts his hand forwards, may I have a dance my lady'.
Khanak knows that he's trying to ease her, she smiles and nods, she holds his hand, he gets up'

Both of them had swayed to music, forgetting that they were observed by so many people, they had been simply great, and Shaan was successful, Khanak had totally lost in his eyes, he had made her to move in twirls, her skirt, her dupatta flying, at last when they had ended, both of them are breathing heavily, both of them gently aroused about eachother's closeness.
They were disturbed by the crowd, crowd clapped for the new couple happily, they had moved away, they were wished by everyone. She was informed by Sunil that they were adding reception function after the marriage, DD had agreed to that, Khanak also agreed, reception will be held on the next day of marriage'.
Khanak had seen  the time it had been late, Aayush had not eaten anything, she takes in her arms, for now Aayush is still young, Shaan is also pulled by Khanak.

They are moved to a room, she first feeds to Aayush, and when she brings the spoon in front of Shaan, Shaan is surprised by her act, he holds her hand and eats, Aayush is speaking non-stopping, telling Shaan what and all he'll be shifting and asking him 1000 questions about his new toys, new dresses, everything, Shaan makes him sits on his lap Shaan cooly answers his question, Khanak makes him eat and she feeds Shaan too, her new family'..

After that Aayush had ran off...

Khanak: i think your very good papa!!!

Shaan: good husband bhi hun, if you want i can show you...(crowds her and she's leaned on the wall)

Khanak bends her head, he tucks her hair behind her ear, caresses her cheeks from his fingers, Khanak closes her eyes and revels herself in his touch...

Shaan: i love you Khanak!!! (Khanak slowly opens her eyes, he's looking intensely at her, his hands still on her cheeks)

Khanak: i love you too...(slowly, Shaan at first is surprised)
Shaan slowly pecks on her forehead, his fingers traces her jawline, making her tremble, in response she parts her lips slightly, she has closed her eyes, he slowly peacks her lips and moves to her neck, for first time, revels himself with her fragrance, her hands her resting on the wall, her nucles have become pink because of the pressure she's applied...

He slowly places soft kisses on her neck, Khanak legs have become wobbly, she couldn't control, she moves away from him, breathing heavily...

Part 32 - Sangeet

Part 32

Same evening, as Shaan had promised Aayush he took him to beach, Khanak had also joined, and that was the last day for Khanak to move out of the house, after that she's not allowed to roam outside till the marriage!! Trio had a great fun, especially Aayush, with his papa; which he had wished and his wish was fulfilled by his beloved father. Khanak had stood far away and watched both of them enjoy, smile playing on her lips, after that Shaan had left them home'.
Next day, they had shifted to her old house, her house, where her childhood had been spent. Shaan had accompanied, he was stunned seeing the house. It was a huge house, with a huge lawn in front of the house, Aayush had runned inside, he hardly remembered the house surroundings, Khanak had left alone, to take in the sight of her house, where she had enjoyed a lot of joyfull moments with her parents, her brother. Each wall of the house telling her the story of it own, her fights with brother, her father protecting her from her brother, then she asking forgiveness , she and brother would run around the house a lot, her mother stopping them, in childhood, which was continued even in their adulthood..
Shaan couldn't have imagined the house like this; it was nicely built, nicely designed, it clearly told that, her family was quite rich, but she had never shown that. She remained as a simple girl, she had also mentioned him that, she was taking all the money responsibilities and her stipend was enough for her and Aayush's living., which neatly told him that, she wasn't like any other girl, going on spending with their father's money, she's the girl who would never ever think about hurting her own self-respect. He had to watch out now, she isn't that easy as she seem to be''but yes too kind enough'.
DD had clearly instructed them to not to see each other, they had agreed reluctantly. Khanak had not left out in the next few days.. Madhvi, Khushboo and dadi had comeover to see her and they had bought a boat load of clothes to her, from which she had to select clothes for sangeet and mehandi'. She was allowed to chose her wedding attiretoo...

she had liked this one at first sight!!!, being sleveless and covered mostly would help her during mehandi!!
For wedding

Though it was heavy, it was unique, it had got special stone on its working, she had fallen in love with this dress!!!
Aayush get a chance of wearing new clothes, he had gone shopping with Dhruv and Raj, Shan had joined them, he had chosen clothes for Aayush'..
Madhvi and Khushboo had gushed a lot about the clothes and jewellery that she'll be wearing, seeing this DD had got tears, he wished all the happiness to her in her life, Dhruv and Raj joked about this, Khanak had got irritated and ran behind them, their neighbors and close relatives whom she knew, only a handful of them were invited. Her father's close friends were invited by DD. They had tried to get in contact with Dhruv's mother, she didn't even receive the call. Raj's parents had cheered her, Misha's husband, Nirav, had also joined .
All these days, Khanak and Shaan had talked to each other through phone, Shaan would call her every hour and she would call him at the night. They would speak whole night, about what they did whole day, and they were missing eachother like hell!! Shaan had also tried to enter her house, seeing many people, he had to return, hearing this Khanak had a good laugh'.
It's a beautiful morning; it's the day for Sangeet. The first wedding ritual, Shaan's family would be coming in the evening, her house had turned to look like some palace, decorated by flowers, lightnings all set, which will be oned in the night. Aayush's too happy he's running all around the house, Khanak had to run behind him making him eat, it had become a really hard task by now, he had started to ask her many questions, Khanak had sometimes got irritated with his question, his question would start from nice pace like, Mom hum log apartment mein nahi jaayenge??? Nahi!! (answer from Khanak)   Mom aap mere liye nayi dresses dilaogi?? Haan!! Mom hum log papa ke ghar par shift honge?? Haan!! Mom mere sare toys le challenge na??? Haan Aayush!! abb please khalo!! Still he won't stop asking questions, at the end of her wits, she would act like crying and he would come running to her, then she would make him eat and then allow him to play!! Because she could never hit him!!
This was the only work she had, she was strictly warned not to do a single thing by Raj's mom!!! Since Raj, Dhruv and Misha were her childhood friends, their parents knew her well, they were happy for her!! Khanak wondered whether she had done some good in her life, that's the reason she was blessed with people around her, who cared for her!!
Shaan was excited on another hand, he would be seeing her after so many days, his shervanis were selected by his mother, he had no interest, his interest was that, he had to just meet Khanak!!!
House was lighted, in evening, Khandelwals had reached her house, they were stunned seeing the arrangements, Shaan's looking cool and handsome in his shervani!!

Aayush and others were rocking too, Aayush's happy to see his papa, Shaan's eyes searches for Khanak. He's made to seat on a chair, which was placed on a stage.
He was greeted by everyone. Everyone were curious to see him, at the other end he was curious to see only pne girl!!!
At last she had come with some other girls, Misha was behind her. Her hairs in curls, with little make up and jewellery, her eyes adored with kohl, lips shining due to lip gloss, looking just like angel in Shaan's eyes. Yes she's looking gorgeous and hot!!!
Her bare waiste making his senses gently aroused, he felt as though it'll be impossible for him to control his senses!!
 She's now walked upto him, he's just looking at her. Khanak had looked at him, she was shy because of the dress, it was so much revelling, she wasn't sure about what Shaan would say to her!!!
His eyes darely roved around her, they were made to sit next to each other, Shaan couldn't contol,
Shaan: marne ka iraada hai kya?? (whisper)
Khanak smiled shyly,  Khanak: kyun??
He was about to continue, but was stopped by...
Announcement!!!! Dhruv's on mike!!

Welcome everyone!! to Shaan and Khanak's  sangeet!!!! (claps)
OK lets start the program!! we matlab hum sab ne decide kiya hai!! that we'll be enacting Shaan and Khanak's story!!
Shaan and Khanak are surprised!!!
Dhruv continues, now we'll be asking the question to Dulha!! i mean Shaan (moves toward him, stands next to him) Shaan are you ready to shake your hips or do you want us to do???
Shaan does an act of thinking!! gets up, places his one hand around Dhruv's shoulders!!
Shaan: Sangeet kiski hai????
Dhruv: obviously tumhara hai!!!
Shaan: to main hi karoonga!!!
Dhruv: ok then!! lets start guys!! pehle song humne choose kiya hai!!
Raj (continues): jab Shaan ne Khanak ko pehli baar dekha, tab uske dil ne kaha...
Dhruv: banjaara banjaara!!! (making an action, by moving his forearms in form of circles)
Shaan: OK!!!! All of the Guys got on the floor...

On the last note, he had pulled Khanak onto the dance floor!!!

Dhruv: welldone!!! (claps) so Khanak are you ready now????

Part 30 & 31

Part 30

Shaan by now had reached her apartment; he is greeted by Aayush, Aayush is happy to see him.
Aayush: Papa!!
Shaan: Hey champ!! (picks him up, Aayush pecks him on his cheek, Shaan returns it too)
Shaan: Aapki mom abhi tak ready nahi hui hai?? (enters in)
Aayush: mom toh ready ho gayi hai!! Mom!!(calls her)
Khanak comes out, she's wearing a black dress, her hair left out, she's looking hot and gorgeous!!! Shaan is stunned after seeing her, words doesn't form to describe how beautiful she's looking!!
Khanak: Hey Shaan!! Dhruv!! (calls out for Dhruv) jaldi karo, Shaan has come!!
Dhruv comes, greets Shaan, Khanak, kaisa lag raha hun??
Khanak:  Dhruv!! Seriously im irritated, yeh tum panchvi baar pooch rahe ho!!
Shaan and Aayush chuckles hearing that, Dhruv: come on Khanak, kya pata agar kohi ladki mujhe pasand aagayi toh, use impress toh karna padega na!!
Shaan: Raj aur Misha kaha hai?? Aur DD??
Khanak: They'll be joining us later, DD will be accompanying Aayush!!
After that all of them had left, DD had taken Aayush with him, but before that, Khanak instructed Aayush to not to move out of the building and to be with DD!! Aayush would have heard that for many times, he assures her that he'll be safe, finally she had accepted and had left him.
They had reached the venue, Raj  and Misha had joined them, Shaan and Khanak were left alone..
Shaan: your looking gorgeous!! (bends down to speak into her ears)
Khanak: (looks up at him) Thanks!! And you're looking hot!!
Shaan: Thank you!! (bows down, playfully) They are greeted by a group of people, most of them are Indians and some of them from London, Samar and Kiya are also present, Introductions are made…

Khanak and Misha are also pulled into it, initially Khanak hesitates, since she was covered by the people she know, she gets easy on it, and dances to beat of music, Shaan and Khanak are dancing closely, Dhruv is tagged along.

Khanak gets thirsty, goes to get a drink, she orders a fruit punch, she takes it, sits there and looks at the dance floor, Shaan easily dancing with her friends and even Samar has joined them, Khanak smiles, she had not seen Shaan like this, expecting her to dance like that was possible, but Shaan?? Kiya comes to her!!
Kiya: Shaan has changed a lot!! (seats in front of her, looking towards Shaan)
Khanak: why?? I mean, had he not been like this before?? (curious)
Kiya: he used to attend parties but not dancing!! (shakes her head)
Khanak: that's fine!! (looks at him) sometimes its good!! You know the change…
Kiya: may be! But not this early, slow change is fine, abrupt change may lead into something else!!
Khanak: its not a big change!! So its good!! He's fine!! And I don't think so its an abrupt change…
Kiya: u seem to know him well!!
Khanak: not that much as you know, but yes I know him!! And I trust him!!
Kiya: is that love?? Or just infatuation??
Khanak: infatuation?? A big no no for that!!
Kiya: then its love??
Khanak: may be!! (looks at him, her realization that she had fallen for this charming person, who has promised her the happiness of her life, then maybe she should tell him that, at this moment, she's happy that she's realized it now)
As on cue Shaan looks at her, moves towards her and pulls her on to the dance floor…

All of them had a great fun, especially Shaan and Khanak, some sort of happiness filling him, even  her spirits were pouring, but for now they had to get back as Aayush was waiting, Samar had wanted Shaan to be there for some time, Khanak and her friends had returned, Shaan had bid them bye, but he wanted to leave Khanak, didn't get a chance to meet her personally…
At Khanak's house, Khanak was tired, the amount of dancing had made her tired, Aayush is not tired, he wanted to play for some more time, now he was playing the video game with Dhruv, Misha had gone to pick her husband, who was invited for Shanak's marriage!! Raj had called off for the day, Dhruv is not yet tired, he's playing with Aayush, DD had gone for dinner with his business colleagues
Khanak is in her room, She's standing near the balcony door, cold breeze, making her hair flee, her hands folded across in the front, suddenly she sees a hand on the balcony rail, a manly hand…
She's alarmed, her eyes wideopened, she gets into her room, picks up a vase, to hit him, by this time, that person had climbed successfully, as her house is in 1^st floor, he could climb easily using the pipe, but what was the security guard doing?? Sleeping?? his back is towards her, she's scared, her hands her shaking, she slowly moves towards him, before he could turn, she hits him, because of the shakiness, she hits his right shoulder, he winces in pain, and turns towards her….
Khanak is shocked seeing the person, she drops the vase down, closes her mouth in horror, he's still wincing in pain,
Khanak: Shaan!!!!
Shaan: aahh Khanak!! Its paining!! (holding his right shoulder)
Khanak: Shaan!! what are you doing here???

Shaan: i came to meet you but i didn't know that i'll be welcomed like this!! (still holding his shoulder)

Khanak: agar chor raaste se aaoge, toh aisa hi hoga!!

Shaan glares at her, Khanak is feeling guilty!!

Khanak: chalo andar chalo!! (makes him sit on her bed)
Khanak: sorry Shaan!! You should have told me na!! aur kya zaroorat thi, aise aane ki?? Agar doorbell bajathe, toh main kholthi nahi kya??
Shaan: kamaal hain!! Main tumhare liye zindagi mein pehli baar pipe chadkke aaya hun, aur tum mujhe hi  daant rahi ho!! Aur raha door se aane ka, DD mujhe aarame se aane dete, hai  na!!
Khanak: ok ok !! sorry!! Chodo!! Abhi bhi dard ho raha hai!! (concerned)
Actually, she had not hit him that badly, but Shaan is Shaan!! His eyes glitter in mischief!! But hides it in front of her!!
Shaan: pata nahi Khanak!! Agar swelling hogayi toh!!
Khanak: swelling!! Nahi!! maine itni zor se thodi na mari thi!! (tensed)
Shaan: uske liye andar dekna padega na Khanak!! Tum pehle jaakar door lock karke aao!!
Khanak: door lock?? Kyun???
Shaan: arrey Khanak!! Agar mujhe kisi ne dekhliya na, toh kya sochenge, toh jaao, close karke aao!!
Khanak falls for his bait, she goes and locks the door, she can't believe that she had hited him so hardly!!
Shaan starts to open his shirt button, Khanak is shocked!!
Khanak: Shaan!! What are you doing????
Shaan: arrey Khanak!! You have to see na what's happened, issliye shirt remove raha hun!!
Khanak is shy, she turns away from him, she goes behind him, she stops him by further opening his shirt, Shaan's shirt is half opened, she get a glimpse of his bare chest, but now she had to concentrate on her work, Shaan's enjoying her discomfiture, he's grinning, since Khanak is standing behind him she's not able to see that.
She pulls his shirt slowly backwards, so that she can see his back, she's closer to him, her heart rate has increased way higher!! She clutches his shirt, so that she won't be touching him'
Shaan is waiting, so that he can feel her soft fingers on his back!!
Khanak examines it, a little bit of redness is seen, she feels so sorry that she had hurted him, tears cloud up in her eyes'
Khanak: ek minute, I'll get aointment!! (she goes and searches in her drawer, gets it comes back)
Shaan has no idea, that she was feeling very bad, she's controlling her tears. She applies it slowly on the part where she could see redness, her cold fingers touching his bare back, giving him pleasure, he's closed his eyes, enjoys her touch, suddenly he felt something watery, he opens his eyes, and turns back to look at her, her lone tear had fallen on his back, now Shaan's turn to feel bad for making her cry,he gets up, cups her face'.
Shaan: Khanak!!
Khanak: im sorry!! (her head is bent down)
Shaan: Khanak I was joking!! Kuch nahi hua hai, it isn't pains anymore!! (makes her to look at him)
Khanak: but I can see redness!!
Shaan: thodi der ke baad teek ho jayega!! See im alright!! (Khanak hugs him, buries her face in his chest)
Shaan holds her tight, calms her down!!
Shaan: waise your strong enough!!  Agar by chance sar pe padtha na, toh main toh gaya kaam se!! (jokes)
Khanak hits him on his chest!! Khanak now remembers the words of Kiya, she slowly gets out of the hug.
Khanak: Shaan tum kiya ko kab se jaante ho???
Shaan: Kiya?? When I saw her in the hospital, it felt like I was seeing her for the first time, I seriously don't remember her!!
Khanak: but she seems to know about you a lot!!
Shaan: may be!! I don't have any idea!! Usse chodo na, mujhe bhuk lagi hai, kuch khaane ke liye laaona!!
Khanak: kyun?? Didn't you have dinner??
Shaan: nahi!! Abb jaaona!! Waise where's Aayush?? I thought he'll be here!!
Khanak: he's playing video game with Dhruv!! Ruko!! I'll come!!
She goes out of the room, to bring something to eat, he onceagain surveys her room, he sees her and Aayush's pic, he smiles at the photo. Besides he could see many CD's, Insomniac, Euphoric' all albums of Enrique Iglesias, he shakes his head, she could be more passionate!!
She returns back with food, hands him the plate, Shaan doesn't receive it, he just stands and looks at her!!
Khanak: What??
Shaan: you'll feed Aayush right?? Now you feed me!! (coolly walks around)
Khanak: Shaan!! Comeon jaldi se khalo!! Aayush aata hi hoga!!
Shaan: haan toh khiladon na Khanak!!
Khanak has no time to argue, she feeds him, he likes it, now he's behaving like Aayush!! How will she manage with these both!! There's a knock on the door, she had locked it once again while coming in!!
Both of them hurries, he's gone behind Balcony door, so that no one can see him. Khanak composes herself and opens the door, its Dhruv!!
Dhruv: kya kar rahi hain?? Itni der kyu lagadi??
Khanak: kyun?? kya hua??
Dhruv: Aayush wants you?? No don't ask any more questions, tum jaake dekho, im going to sleep, good night!! (He's gone, Khanak rushes towards Aayush)
Shaan wonders what would have happened, She returns back with Aayush, she's carrying him, Aayush had hugged her tight, she's consoling him, he had lost in the game, he was feeling bad!! Khanak makes him sleep on the bed, she lays next to him, wonders where Shaan might be, he's still waiting in the balcony, he can see both of them... Aayush is back to normal!!

Aayush: mom!! aap papa ko miss nahi karte?? (looks up at her)

Khanak: (opens her eyes widely) aap aisa kyun pooch rahe ho??

Aayush: because i miss him!! agar papa hote, toh he would let me win na!! Dhruv uncle ki tarah cheating nahi karte!!

Khanak smiles at him!!

Khanak: Dhruv ne cheating kiya??

Aayush: yes mom aap ko pata nahi hai!!

Khanak: chalo abb bahut hogaya so jaon, bahut raat hogayi hai!!

Aayush: mujhe neend nahi rahi hai!!

After so much cajoling him, she sleeps, Khanak moves out to check on Shaan, he was still waiting near the balcony door, both of them smiled at each other, he pecked her on her lips bid goodbye, but now, he slowly went out of the house through main door, as Khanak would never allow him to go out through that pipe route!!

Next day morning, casual morning, Shaan had called to speak with Aayush and promised him that he'll be taking him to the beach in the evening!!

In the hospital, its Khanak's and Raj's last day, they are now allowed to take operation singally, but they had to cover their whole portion in 3months, but for now happy that they are near to their dream, usual nervousness would be there, but Shaan is right there for Khanak!!

Now she'll be going through a time, where she will be facing lot of hardships, she had to take care of Aayush, Shaan and her new family, she can't let anyone down, she had to carry out all other things well... she and her friends would be shifting to her house, her parents house, tomorrow, Shaan would be accompanying them, all the other functions would be held in that house, sangeet, maehandi, haldi, and the final day, Shanak's marriage!!

Though Shaan had assured her, she's still scared but she does beleive in him, now she's kept the thought aside, now she's enjoying her days, she's pampered by everyone, especially from Shaan!!!

Part 28 & 29

Her dupatta had fallen on the ground now, she had removed her heels, her feet restng on his, her head resting on his chest, he had held her tightly, so secure, both of them enjoying each others company..
After sometime,
S:khanak! i've done so much for your sake, tum kuch nahi kahogi(looking down at her)
K:kyu?kuch karna chaiyiya tha? (naughty)

S:sochna vochna kuch nahi! So its a lunch date!!!
After sometime both of them had come down, they were informed that, the marriage will be held in the house, where her parents had wished, her old house. Hearing this Khanak's really happy, Khandelwal's were happy too.
All are friends were happy too. Khanak's hospital duty would end by 3days, afterthat she would be having 3months holiday to prepare for exam. After 3days she would be shifting to her old house with her friends and DD.
Aayush too equally excited...
Dinner was rocking with whole family, Shaan and Khanak, were seated next to each other, they are given gulabpak, Shaan has no idea what it is, Khanak's eyes lit up,
Dhruv: Shaan its gulabpak, Khanak ki fav sweet hai!!
Shaan: oh ya!!
Khanak's friends request them to feed each other, both of them agrees, Shaan gives her first, Khanak takes a little and the rest is eaten by Shaan, he likes it too.. Khanak and her friends with Aayush had left the house, when they had left it was late night, Aayush had already slept off, Khanak had carried him...
Morning in the hospital, Khanak and Shaan were moving to each other with a smile, but Raj comes in between, he's avoiding both of them, his face is towards Shaan and he is extending his hands so that Shaan cannot see Khanak
Khanak: Raj what's this?(disgusted)
Shaan:Raj kya kar rahe ho?
R:sorry guys aap dono ek doosre se milnahi sakthe
S:what?
K:Raj kya bakwaas kar rahe ho
R:mujhe voh sab nahi pata DD ne bataaya aap dono mil nahi sakte matlab nahi mil sakthe! 

 

 

Part 29
Khanak: Raj this is ridiculous!!
Raj turns towards her, but still shielding them,  mujhe kuch mat bolo, DD ko jaake kaho!!
Shaan: Raj!!(sweetly, but frustrated) u know na that im Khanak's guide!! Atleast usse mujhe assist toh karne de!! Raj now turns towards him.
Raj: sorry Dr. Shaan,  voh kya hai, aaj mera duty aapke saath hain, aur waise bhi agar Khanak ko koi bhi problem hogi, she can call you!!
Shaan and Khanak: lekin raj!!
Raj: lekin vekin kuch nahi!! (tired) yaar mujhe toh chein se apne duty karne do!! Aur Khanak tumhara duty Dr. Abhimanyu ke saath hai!! (standing in between)
Khanak: now who's Dr. Abhimanyu????
Raj: arrey naya doctor, chalna kaam karna, mujhe bhi kaam karne do!!
Khanak: fine!! (irritated)
Shaan moves backwards to Raj and signals her to call from his hand, after that he smiles(fake smile) at Raj, leaves the place, Khanak also give him a fake smile and leaves from there!! Raj follows Shaan!!
Shaan gets a call when he was taking rounds, till now Raj was with him, now Shaan had excused himself telling it was personal, now he had moved to a corner, as it was call from Khanak!!
Shaan: Hello Khanak!!
No response from her side'
Shaan: Khanak!! Kya hua?? (worried)
Khanak: Don't ask, this got be the worst day of my life!!
Shaan: (chuckles) why??
Khanak: this new Dr. is such a pain!! (disgusted)
Shaan: kyun?? (walking towards his cabin, Raj had now left him)
Khanak: he's just ranting, he wants to go for a hospital tour, he wants me to accompany him, do I look loke a guide???
Shaan: (laughs out loudly) chill Khanak!!  listen send some nurse with him or tell him that your engaged!! So he'll stop using those pick-up lines..
Khanak: Shaan!! Ok yeh batao had u gone for a hospital tour on your first day???
Shaan: yes!! But all alone, as you were late on that day!! (remembering their first day) achcha Khanak listen, abb hum lunch ke liye milrahe hai na??
Khanak: oh yes!! Listen just stay in your cabin after your duty, baaki sab mein dekh lungi!!
Shaan: are you sure??
Khanak: oh yes 100% sure!! Wait and see!!! Achcha suno''..
Shaan: Kaho!! (smiles sweetly)
Khanak (laughs out): Shaan!! Got to go!!
Shaan: itni jaldi!!
Khanak: Shaan I guess your thoughts are  getting wild!!
Shaan: oh yes!! You can't even imagine how wild its getting!!
Khanak wants to continue the talk, but there enters Dr. Abhimanyu, she's silent!!
Shaan: where r u?? (has  reached his cabin)
Khanak: cafe!!
Shaan: can I come??
Khanak: please come!! That's enough for Shaan, he runs towards the caf, he can see her, she's still holding the phone, he can see a person seated opposite to her, he's quite good looking, Shaan slowly enters with a smile, Khanak sees him, she smiles brodly at him, Dr. A is confused, as to why she was smiling!!
Shaan: Hello Dr. Khanak!! (smiles broadly and takes a seat next to her, he's close)
Khanak is surprised!! But still she's smiling. Shaan extends a hand towards Dr. Abhimanyu
Shaan: Hello, im Dr. Shaantanu Khandelwal!!
Dr. A (shakes his hand): Hello im Abhimanyu!! Just joined in!! Raj enters and stands next to Shaan, starts patting his legs on the ground, Dr. A has no idea
Shaan: Raj!! Join.. (coolly)
Raj: Khanak!!!
Khanak: fine!! (gets up, bids bye to Shaan and leaves from there) After that even Shaan leaves disappointedly, Raj follows him, Dr. A is left alone'.
Afternoon, Shaan is done with his duty , he's waiting in his cabin for Khanak, he knew that she'll be there. As expected Khanak enters his cabin, running, she enters and closes the door. Shaan smiles and Khanak returns back the smile'.
Shaan (excited, moves towards her): I thought you won't able to make it!!
Khanak: aise kasi nahi aati!! Jab meri honewale pati ne jo bhulaya tha, mujhe toh aana hi tha!! (both of them hugs eachother)
Shaan: aur raj!!
Khanak: don't ask!! (giggles) I've tied him with a girl!!
Shaan: what? (smiling)
Khanak: you don't know na, there's girl, who's still doing her internship, she loves Raj, but Raj doen't like her, i made her go behind him!! (giggles)
Shaan: your impossible!!
Khanak (moves out of the hug): khaana nahi khaana!! see what i've brought (places a carrier on his table)
Shaan: u got the lunch!!
Khanak: yes i did!! pehle kolo toh sahi!! Shaan agrees and opens it, he's surprised to see his favourite kheer, in the first dabba, he smiles and looks at her, she is grinning, her eyebrows are dancing...
Shaan:wow!! you made this for me!!
Khanak: aur bhi hai kholo!! Shaan opens the next one, he's happy to see rajma!! he wonders how she knew that he liked rajma!!
Khanak: (not allowing him to ask): dadi told!! (easily shrugs, still smiling)
Shaan has no words for her, Khanak can see that he's happy, he's now seated on his chair...
Khanak: taste nahi karoge?? gives him a spoon, he tries both of them,
Shaan: wow Khanak this is so good!!
Khanak thank you!! (playfully) (saying this she clears his table, and coolly leans on it, just opposite to Shaan, Shaan pulls her hand she turns and land hardly on him, now she's sitting on his lap!!)
Shaan: Thanks to you Khanak!! your the best gift in my life i would have ever got, thanks for coming into my life!!!
Khanak: (slowly gets up, bends to him) agar aisa hai toh, mujhe bhi tumhe bahut saare Thank you bholna hoga, because your the person i'll be  sharing my life!! so thank you rehne dete hai!! aaj ke baad no sorry and no thank you!! (hugs him)
Shaan hugs her back, Afterthat, lunch goes on smoothly, both of them at times feeding eachother, walking all over his cabin, at sometimes Shaan running behind her making her eat, both are happy, each one of them in their minds think that they are the luckiest persons in the whole world, to have each one of them!!!
Shaan's intercom starts ringing, Shaan receives it, he gets to know that he's got visitors, he asks them to allow them in, Khanak is still present!!
Shaan is happy to see the person, its Samar, with a girl, Shaan is unable to recognize, both of them greet eachother and hugs are welcomed, Samar knew about Shaan's engagement, so now he knows Khanak!!

Samar: nice to meet you Khanak!! have heard a lot about you from Shaan!!

Khanak: really!! but i don't know anything about you!!

Samar: no problem!! you'll get to know me from now onwards!! Khanak smiles at that, Shaan is still wondering who the girl is??

Samar: Shaan!! i know your wondering about who the girl is!! this is Kiya!! Shaan remember!!
Shaan has no idea!!

Kiya: i was there in your batch, in London!!

Shaan: oh ya?? im sorry, i seriously don't remember!!

Kiya: that's fine, that doesn't surprise me, your still the same!!

Shaan: anyways Kiya, this is Khanak, my fiancey!!! (embracing her shoulder)

Kiya: oh nice to know!! congratulations!!!

Talk continues, they get to know that Shaan friend Samar had arranged a party, he invites both of them, Shaan is not sure, whether he'll be attending or not, Khanak is fine with it!!

Shaan: Khanak shaayad tum bhul rahi ho, that we are not suppose to meet!! (reminds her, Khanak now gets into the reality)

Kiya: what do you mean your not suppose to meet, ur still together now!!

Khanak: oh that's a long story (to kiya) no problem Shaan i think, i can ask DD for the permission!

Samar: toh u people are coming??

Khanak: sure!! Samar do you mind if i bring my friends???

Samar: no problem!!

Raj comes into the cabin running, he's breathing heavily,

Raj: Khanak!! please kuch kar na!!

Khanak: what she's still behind you???

Raj: aur nahi toh kya!! aaj ke baad mein tum dono ke beech mein nahi aaonga!! (still breathing heavily)

Khanak: now that's like a good boy!! (Shaan chuckles, 2 of them in the room are clueless)

Khanak: chalo abb (pushes him towards the door, she bids bye to Samar and Kiya and promises that she'll be there for the party in the evening)

She's about to go out with Raj, stopped by Shaan.

Shaan: Aayush???

Khanak: DD has gone to pick him up!! Saying that both of them smiles and Khanak moves out with Raj!!

Evening she's back at home, she has convinced DD for the party, he had agreed, now she's in her room with Aayush!! He's telling her about his day!! Both of them are ont he bed, he's lying on her lap!!

Aayush: mom!! aap papa se mili thi??

Khanak: yes!! i think he should be coming by 7!!

Aayush: sachi mein!!! (excited suddenly upset) lekin mom mein toh aaj birthday party ke liye jaa raha ho!!

Khanak: kohi problem nahi!! aap unse baat karne ke baad chale jaaan!! (pecks him on his forehead)

Aayush: mom aaj aap bahar jaa rahe ho???

Khanak: yes!! aap bhi aaoge??

Aayush: nahi!! aap apne dost ke saath party manaaiye, main apne doston ke saath!!

Khanak: achcha toh phir main aapki dost nahi hun (pouts)

Aayush gets up, he convinces her like

Aayush: mom app mere best friend ho!! (hugs her)
Khanak hugs him back!! Dhruv is back from his work, all joins in the living hall, to have their, coffee, tea and Aayush's milk. Khanak narrates about Raj's condition in the hospital, all of them have a good laugh, Raj is irritated!!!
 

Part 26 & 27- engagement

Part 26
They had entered into a good shopping place, Soch, they had decided, that they would go for clothes first and then for the ring. Dhruv is missing, Aayush is in Shaan's arms and Khanak beside him'
Aayush: mom!! Lets play a game!!
Khanak: game?? Even Shaan is confused!!
Aayush: yes!! We'll search a shervani for papa and papa will search a dress for you and for me, what say?? (he winked at her)
Khanak: lekin Aayush we don't know his choice'..
Shaan: yeah Aayush, and I seriously don't know what to buy for your mom'
Aayush: papa don't worry, Dhruv uncle will help you, mom even you don't worry, I'll help you'
Khanak: and you know his choice' Aayush noded sweetly, Khanak and Shaan are surprised, Dhruv joins them, Aayush tells him this, Dhruv does a thumbs up, and now Aayush is forwarded to Khanak's arms, their ways are different, Shaan had to go for 1^st floor for her dress'
Shaan and Dhruv entered a counter, and they asked for engagement dress, they showed a boat load of dresses, some Dhruv disliked it and most of them was disliked by Shaan, he wanted a simple attire for her but yes fashionable, he knew atleast so much, by the way she dressed, it had told him that, she is the perfect girl for him, even he is the same, isn't he??
Finally, both of them had agreed to a dress, offcourse it was blue in colour, as Khanak wanted it. Now its time for Aayush's dress'
On the other side, Khanak and Aayush are in great confusion, they had ended up for 2 shervanis, but they had to choose 1, as we know she was bad at choosing, even when she used to shop for her father or brother, if she would have liked two of them, then she would buy 2 of them, but now can she buy 2??
Khanak: Aayush dono hi le lete hai!! Whichever he likes, he'll wear!!
Aayush: mom, don't make it complicated, comeon pick one!! (encourages her)
Khanak is in utter confusion, Aayuh gives the support, and finally she selects one, she's not sure whether, Shaan likes it or not'.
 Khanak and Aayush had waited for them in the lobby, as they had taken so much time to come back, Khanak was agitated, she's not fine with her decision, what if he doesn't like it, she had never seen him wearing traditional clothes, she just wanted to drag him and ask about her choice, but she couldn't do that, Aayush cooled her, he randomly talked making her cool, now she had forgotten where she was, she was just listening to her son talk, who was making her laugh, hadn't he grown?? She felt like as though he was grown very much that he was now talking like a big child with responsibilities and she also feared that, he would leave her. She hugged him to her chest, tears in her eyes'
Khanak: Aayush!! Please don't ever leave him!! (chokes down)
Aayush moves out of the hug, wipes her tears, Mom!! If you tell to leave me also, then also I wouldn't leave you!! I promise!! Now stop crying mom!! Aapki engagement ho rahi hai, aur aap ek chote bachchi ki tarah ro rahe ho!! He tickles her, making her laugh, he knew how to keep his mom cheerful!! Now he'll be accompanied by his new papa, to make her cheerful!!
Finally, Shaan and Dhruv had made their way down, both of them not sure whether each one of them likes each others choice or not' They found mother and son talking freely, and Aayush making her laugh and even the staff'
Aayush: papa aap aagaye!! (Khanak turns to see at him, Shaan could guess that she had cried, but he didn't wanted to ask her in front of everyone, he knew her so well, that even in his absence, he could tell what his love was doing' but  for now she was smiling, her eyes now showed the curiousity to know what he had brought for her'
Khanak: what took you so long??
Both of them shrugged easily'
Aayush made Shaan to look at the shervani, Khanak is looking at him intently, his eyes roved over the material, he slightly touched it too, yes he had liked it, it was just the way he wanted it, his eyes had lit up seeing the material, yes now he knows that, his love also knows him well, he looked up st her, she was waiting for him to tell something, but'
Aayush: papa try it now!! Even Khanak noded to it, he agreed too'
When he had come out, we could say that Khanak would fall, thanks to the chair, she was leaned on'. He was looking best in this attire, he was just looking like a greek god!! His face to die for!! Aayush couldn't control his joy, he clapped, seeing his papa, even Dhruv liked it!! Khanak smiled gloriously at him, she appreciated herself for her work of selecting a perfect shervani for him, her future husband, thinking about that made her feel like as though butterflies in her stomach'
Now its Aayush's turn, Aayush was looking very good, Aayush liked Shaan's choice for him, he didn't have the heart to take it off, he had to'
Finally Khanak's turn, she took the bag which held the dress, she didn't open the bag in front of him. Dhruv and Aayush had gone out, as Aayush wanted to eat!!
After 5 minutes or so, she returned, but she was wearing her normal dress, Shaan is confused'
Shaan: Khanak!! You didn't like it??
Khanak: no!! I mean I loved it!! (glorious smile)
Shaan: then why didn't you wear??
Khanak: that's because you are not suppose to see me in this (pointing towards the dress) befor engagement fuction'
Shaan: who told that??
Khanak: myself!! (proud)
Shaan: Khanak please pehnke aao na, I want to see you right now in this dress!! (orders)
Khanak shakes her head in no, it irritates him. They pay for it and leave the place. Shaan is trying to avoid her, Khanak is enjoying his irritation, shes controlling her giggle' They enter into Tanishq for the rings, they are seated next to each other, they've asked for the rings, the person who's gonna attend them, he's searching for their best collections, Khanak moves closer to him'
Khanak: naraaz ho?? (near his ear)
Shaan ignores her and looks around the shop'
Khanak: Shaan!! Meri taraf dekho toh sahi!! (makes him look at her) sorry!! (holding her ears)
Shaan can't be angry with her for longer time, he had actually understood her, her feelings, it was so much important for her, his appraoval on her wearing the dress on that day, he now smiles at his own behavior''
Shaan: atleast ring toh pehnke dikhaogi na!! (mocking)
Khanak: nahi!!
Shaan: why??
Khanak: if you want, I'll wear it on my right hand's ring finger, but not on the left one'.
Shaan: ok!! (smiles knowingly) The person shows the rings for both of them, even Dhruv and Aayush joined them, ring was finalized too'
Cards for the engagement was also decide, they had returned to their houses, tired, happy'.
The next 2 days had fleed, now even in hospital everyone new about them, some were happy and some people had their own gossips, guests were decided, Khandelwal's house, venue for the fuction'
On the engagement day, Khanak had taken leave on that day, she's tensed, her friends and her neighbours are their with her, but she wished for her parents'
Aayush also calmed her, telling that he was there for her, there was a sudden chearing outside all of them looked at the direction, it's Dhruv's dad!


Part 27


Dhruv's dad is a cheerful person, he was best friend of  Khanak's dad, and Khanak would mention him as her first crush, Khanak is very happy to see him, this was a surprise from her friends, in the next moment she's hugging him and tears are flowing freely from her eyes, he's hugged her back'.
Khanak: I missed you DD (she used to call him that in her past days)
DD: agar itna miss karthi thi, toh call kyun nahi kiya?? (chokes)
Khanak wipes her tears, moves out of the hug
Khanak: who meri naye wala bf ke saath busy thi!! (winks at him and smiles)
DD: achcha!! Aur uska naam Shantanu hai!! (smiling) (Khanak is shy) im happy for you beta!! (pecks her on forehead)
DD: achcha batao, kya kya shopping ki hai, abb main apni beti ki shaadi karoonga!!
Dhruv: Dad, seriously beti!! (makes a face)
DD: agar bahu nahi ban sakthi to kya hua, beti toh hai hi!!
Misha: toh phir Dhruv Khanak ki bhai hua hai na?? (pulling out of the senti part)
Raj: correct!! Abb se Khanak, dhruv ko bhaiyya kehke bullaigi!! (pulling Dhruv's leg)
Dhruv: oh plese main kisiki bhai nahi banne wala hun!! Waise dad main aur Khanak ne decide kiya hai, that we'll continue our affair part after her marriage!! (siddles up to her, Khanak pushes him)
Khanak: no ways of cheating my husband!! (blurts)
All of them: my Husband aah!!! (grinning)
Aayush: agar kisi ne meri mom ko tease kiya na, it won't be good!!
DD talks with Aayush, engagement preparations are on fire, they had to reach Khandelwal's house by evening.
Make up artist had come for her make-up, though Khanak had denied it, but her friends insisted her, only light make up was agreed by Khanak'

Khanak's dress
Her hairs were left in curls, she looking gorgeous in the dress, her waiste is exposed, it is adored by those beads, she had let her dupatta flow on her hands, her nech and ears adored with jewellery...
Aayush is wearing a cream coat on a black shirt and pant, looking very cute...
Evening, Shaan on otherside was all ready

looking like a greek god in his attire. Khandelwal's all are ready, Sunil and Akki in their 3piece suite, Madhvi and boo in their designer sarees, dadi in her simple attire 
Khandelwal house is all decorated with white and blue flowes, house is all lightened up, looking good for the engagement party...

Guests all have come, they are waiting for the bride's side. Khandelwals are grouped and pulling Shaan's leg, they get the message that bride side has arrived, Shaan and everyone turned towards the entrance, Shaan's eyes searches for Khanak...

DD is standind in the front, with Dhruv, Aayush is in Dhruv's arms and Raj, he's impressed by Khandelwal's for their arrangement, Khanak is standing behind them with Misha and all other people whom she knew...

Khandelwal's don't have any idea about DD, DD is introduced to them, DD is happy after meeting Shaan, Shaan bends down to take his blessing, but DD hugs him, he's happy for Khanak, Shaan is impatient, he wanted to see her, his love, but DD is completely covering her, Dhruv and Raj, sees that, they are controlling their laughter...

Aayush jumps down from Dhruv's arms, goes to his dad.

Aayush: (Shaan picks him up) papa your looking handsome... (his eyes sparkling)

Shaan: thanks, aap bhi bahut achche lag rahe ho!!

Sunil: arrey hamari honewali bahu kaha hai bhai??

Dhruv: woh uncle ghar par hai!! (joking)

Shaan: what?? (terrified)

Raj: chill!! he's joking! presenting Miss Khanak Mishra...(all of them move apart, Shaan is mesmerized by her simplicity and her beauty, Khanak is shy, she's bent her head down, she goes towards dadi to take her blessings, she hugs Madhvi and khushboo and Sunil and Akki gives her a side hug, she's not looking towards Shaan)

Misha: Shaan you can close your mouth (giggles)

Akki pats him on his back, Shaan rubs his hair at the nape of his neck...

Madhvi: chalo chalo sab chalthe hai, engagement shuru karte hai... (Aayush is now transferred into Akki's arms)

They make them sit together, on the chairs which is placed in the centre of the hall. Madhvi brings a plate, and does teeka for both of them from Dulha's side, DD does teeka once again for both of them from Dulhan's side...

After that rings are brought



Khanak's ring

They are made to stand opposite to each other, Khanak finally looks at him, Shaan is smiling at her, Madhvi gives Shaan, the ring, he takes it from her, he extends his left hand, she slowly keeps her left hand, he puts the ring onto her ring finger, ever so slowly, everyone claps...

Khanak also places the ring on his ring finger!! All are happy!!!

Mubbarak ho Shanak ki engagement ho gayi!!!!

Dadi gives them sweet, which was first eaten by Shaan and Khanak had taken the bite from the left off, that's one of the ritual...

Party is on, DD is easily gelling with Khandelwal's...

Dadi: Khanak beta, humne shaadi ke liye dates dekhi hai, dus din ke baad muharat nikal aaya hai, tumhare liye teek hai na??

Khanak is shocked, dadi bahut jaldi hai!!!

Shaan: arrey kya jaldi hai, dadi teek hai, dus din ke baad shaadi, Khanak teek hai!!

Khanak: no shaan!! i've still got my exams...

Shaan: exams hi toh hai, shaadi ke baad complete kar lena!! what say dad??

Sunil: haan beta!! we don't have any problem with your studies and your work, you can continue after your marriage also!!

Aayush: yeh!!! mumma aur papa ki shaadi hai!!!! (excited)  Khanak is not ready, but her friends and DD convinces her, she's agreed for now, but still she's not fine with it...

Party continues, all are dancing, even Aayush, Khanak is trying to smile, but tension is clear in her face, Shaan has noticed that, but for now, all are coming forward to wish them, even Dr. Lata had come, she was happy for both of them. At one point all are busy, enjoying the party, Shaan talks to dadi and pulls Khanak to a side and takes her to his room

Khanak: Shaan!! kya kar rahe ho?? (they are now in his room)

Shaan: Khanak!! (holds her hands in his hands) kya hua?? why are you tensed??

Khanak: Shaan this is so early, i don't think so that im ready for a marriage right now!! Aayush, tum, mere studies, i have that fear that i'll mess up, agar main Aayush ko time nahi depaoungi then he'll be sad, agar main tumhe time nahi dun, then u'll be upset, agar main apne studies ko dhyaan na dun, then i'll be ruining my parent's dream...

Shaan understands her, he moves near her, cups her face...

Shaan: Khanak chill!!!! i know that u won't mess up with anyone of us, i agree to that Aayush requires attention, don't worry hum dono usse sambhalenge, aur tumhari studies, main ho na, i'll help you and your parents dream will come true!! and me, im there in your schedule now, so mere liye chal jayega, bus thoda sa time, hamare romance ke liye de dena... (Shaan is grinning, Khanak smiles)

Khanak: lekin Shaan!! your family??

Shaan: our family Khanak!! trust me, they don't have any problem with this!!

Khanak smiles and Shaan engulfes her into a tight hug, Khanak is resting her head on his chest, her hands at his back, Shaan is caressing her back...

Shaan: congratulations on your engagement!! Khanak mishra!!

Khanak: Same to you!! (still engulfed)

Shaan: waise Khanak!! tumhara sirname Mishra hai, yeh mujhe aaj hi pata chala!!

Khanak is out of the hug

Khanak: what do you mean, you didn't know???

Shaan: tumne kabhi bataaya hi nahi!!

Khanak has closed her eyes, Shaan slowly cups her face and pecks on her forehead, Khanak slowly opens her eyes, Shaan is too close, faces inches away, Shaan's lips slowly closes on her lips, he kisses her fully, her hands rested on his waiste, pulling kurta down with force, this time she also responds to the kiss!! Part 24 & 25

Part 24

After sometime, Khanak is resting her head on his left shoulder, half asleep, he's messing with her hair, straightening it, curling it'. It's already half past midnight'
Shaan: Khanak!!!
Khanak: hmm'(struggling hard to be awake)
Shaan: I love you!! (pulling her  more closer)
Khanak: hmm' She has entered into her dreamland'.
Shaan: when are you going to reply??? Khanak doesn't answer, she'e slept off' Since she didn't respond, Shaan looks down at her, she's sleeping, she's snuggled into his chest, she's secured in his arms, Shaan smiles at her sleeping figure' He reluctantly gets up, he wanted to spend some more time there, but it was getting colder. He slowly got up and carried her in his arms. He carried her to her room, mde her sleep, covered her with the blanket, she stirred in sleep and moved closer to Aayush. Shaan bend down slowly whispered good night and pecked his would be wife on her forehead and had left the room silently'
Next day morning 5:00
Shaan tiptoed into her room, he was fresh and squeaky clean, it was clrearly telling that he had not slept whole night. Khanak was in deep sleep, Shaan moved closer and shaked her'
Shaan: Khanak!! (near her ear)
Khanak buried herself into the blanket, Shaan had no idea what to do, he slowly carried her in his arms, brought her to the hall, placed her on the sofa, she's still sleeping. Shaan didn't wanted her to wake up, but he had too'
Shaan: Khanak!! (taps on her cheeks) Khanak opens her eyes, half.
Khanak: Shaan!!(in her sleep drugged voice) (closes her eyes and settles herself on the sofa)
Shaan: haan!! Tumhara Shaan!! Abb utho!! (taps her once again)
Khanak: (opens her eyes) Shaan, problem kya hai, soney kyun nahi de rahe ho?? (Frustated)
Shaan: Khanak please utho!!! We have to go out and I want to show you something!!  (Enthu)
Khanak: (fully awake and fully frustated) Shaan!! Itni subah subah kaha jaana hai tumhe??
Shaan: tum chalo toh sahi!! (makes her get up, she reluctantly gets up and freshens)
Shaan is driving, Khanak is sitting next to him, fully irritated, Shaan smiles at her, he tries to get hold of her hand, she takes off  it from him, furiously' Shaan lets her be, as he loves her, then obviously he should her ways'.He had reached, actually they had reached, he had reached happily, she was sulking all the way' Shaan got down, moved to her side and opened the door for her, she gets down and tries to look around, though sun has rised, but its covered with fog, she goes till the end, she's trying to see, Shaan holds her hand from back'
Shaan: ghirne ka iraada hai kya!! Main tumhe itne zaldi nahi chodnewala hun!! (pulls her towards him) infact main tumhe zindagi barr nahi chodunga!! 
Khanak tries to get to move out, her struggles are thrown into the air, finally she agrees to him'
Shaan: sorry Khanak!! I know I've not left you sleep!! (holding his ears)
Khanak smiles at him, bring back his hands down, lekin Shaan where are we?? Yaha pe toh kuch  nahi dikhayi de raha hai'
Shaan: ek minute!! (by this time sun has fully raised, due to the bright light, fog is all cleared, she could see that view, which she wished to see from childhood, but she had not got chance, as her father whenever they used to come, he would promise her to take her, but couldn't do that. She's so mesmerized by the natural beauty, it's the tigers point')

Both of them had reached back at home, all were waiting for them, Dadi wanted to go to a temple, it was decided that they'll be visiting Ekira devi temple, famous in Lonavala, after that boating for Aayush and Bushy dam for all of them

A special pooja for Shanak and Aayush's sake at Ekira devi, after that Aayush had gone crazy for boating, Shanak with Aayush in one boat, Raj is with misha, Dhruv is left with dadi, sunil is with madhvi and Akki with boo..

After that, her friends had wanted to visit bushy dam, their wish was also fulfilled, once again Raj was seen Misha, Dhruv can't shut his mouth..

Dhruv: oye Raj!! tu kab se Misha ke saath rehne laga?? (his eyebrows dancing)

Raj: (not wanted to left out) jab se mujhe pata chala hai ke, that Misha's husband is leaving her (winks at Dhruv) Misha quickly leaves his hand, and glare at him.

Misha: oh please!! dream on!! he would never leave me...(confident)

Shaan: kya confidence hai (gelling with them)

Khanak: hogi kyunn nahi, love marriage jo tha... (smiles) Misha is blushing...

Aayush: mom!! (he's gone way forwards with Akshay) Khanak is terrified, she tries to move to him as fast as she can, she know that he's safe with Akki, but still she is the mother...

Khanak: Aayush waapas aajao!! (she's about to fall, Shaan holds her, she smiles at him, but Shaan was tensed)

Dhruv: oh super mom!! apne aapko sambhalo pehle!!

Shaan: Khanak please be carefull!! (still holding her hand, both of them are close enough)

Raj: (clears his throat) this is called public place...

everyone at unison,yells RAJ!!!!

Everyone are super tired with amount of fun they had today!! All of them were very happy, a sudden call to Sunil and Akki,had informed that, their trip was over, still they had to see so much, no one had the wish of going back, but they had to, it was decided that they'll be leaving early in the morning...

Shaan had shown some concern towards Khanak, he had left her to sleep and rest...


Part 25

As soon as they had returned, Khanak and Raj had to take over the duty, Shaan had taken off, as dadi wanted to talk to him about engagement preparations, Shaan had called at her house, as her phone was switched off, got to know from Dhruv, that she'll be having night duty. Shaan had wished that he could see her or to talk with her, he was disappointed…
Suddenly his phone rang, he didn't have mood to pick up, but when he saw the screen flashing the name of his would be wife, hhis face lit up, he was overjoyed, he picked the call…
Khanak: Hello!! (slowly)
Shaan: Khanak!! I was just thinking about you!! (smiling broadly)
Khanak: achcha!! Sorry Shaan couldn't call you, I was in OT, and im totally exhausted!! (tired)
Shaan (irritated): then why are you doing that night duty?? Why can't you go home and rest??
Khanak: Shaan chill!! Shaayad tum bhul rahe ho, that im still learning, im still a student (softly) and I have to obey the orders of seniors!! Don't worry, I'll be fine!!
Shaan: do you want me to talk to Dr. Lata??
Khanak: no!! im fine, abb tum batao, dinner kiya??
Shaan: (smiles) nahi, actually I was waiting for you to serve me!!
Khanak: oh really!! Nice one Shaan!! But you have to wait for that…
Shaan: wohi toh nahi ho raha hai!! Intezaar!! (smiles naughtily)
Khanak blushes at that statement…
Shaan: achcha listen, me and Dadi have decided the theme for engagement!! It will be red!!
Khanak: nice!! Lekin red?! No Shaan I think it should be blue!! I love blue!!
Shaan: sorry Khanak, It'll be red, its my choice (proud)
Khanak: Shaan!! But I like blue!! (argument begins)

They fought like this for some more time, until each of them cuts the phone angrily…
 Khanak had a busy night, when she had come in the morning, her friends had greeted her, but she didn't have the mood to chat with them, she was informed that, Aayush had gone to school, she had collapsed on her bed after changing…
When Shaan had come to hospital, she had already left, he decides to meet her at her house after his duty… Shaan had reached her apartment, by noon, he was greeted by Misha, Dhruv was busy with Sunil, in the preparations of engagement, he was making the guest list for Khanak. After seeing Shaan, Misha had excused herself and had left telling that she was going to pick Aayush from school…
Shaan entered into her room, he was seeing her room for the first time, there was big photo of her, which her friends had gifted her on her birthday, and another photo frame of her with her family, she's smiling gloriously in both of them, her room, he felt somewhat serene, there, she was sleeping, her hair all over, her hands below her head, Shaan slowly moves to the other side, smiles mischievously, and sleeps next to her silently…
He tucks her hair behind her ear, Khanak stirs, Shaan becomes silent, he's just looking at her… As on cue, Khanak slowly opens her eyes, at first his image is blurr, she blinks, rubs her eyes, sees him, she's shocked, she suddenly gets up on the bed…
Khanak: Shaan!! (terrified)
Shaan: itni jaldi utne ki kya zaroorat thi!! (gets up too, he's sitting opposite to her)
Khanak: what?? Anyways, what are you doing here??
Shaan: tumse milne aur kis liye!! (shrugs) for your kind information, after that fight, you didn't call me back!! (pouts)
Khanak: oh!! For your kind information, ladaai maine nahi aapne shuru kiya tha!! (gets up on her knees)
Shaan: maine?? (even he gets up on his knees) main nahi tumne!!
Both of them are ready to fight!! Dhruv was watching this from the door (only the fight)..
Dhruv: guys cool!! Tum log bhi na!! (both of them cooled themselves and both of them got out from the bed)
Dhruv: achcha abb shopping chalna hai ki nahi??
Shaan and Khanak (together) : lekin Aayush!!
Dhruv: waah!! Kya timing hai!! Don't worry, Aayush abhi aata hi hoga and yes even he's coming with us….
Shaan and Dhruv had left the room, allowing her to get ready, she was ready within 15 minutes, she had worn a red kurti on jeans, Shaan was surprised, he had heard that girls take more time to get ready, he was impressed, at the same time Aayush enters…
Aayush: mom!!! (runs to her)
Khanak (bends down and hugs him): Hey Aayush!!
Aayush's notices Shaan, who was broadly smiling…
Aayush: Shaan uncle!! (runs to him, Shaan picks him up)
Shaan: hey champ!!
Dhruv: Aayush start calling him papa!!
Aayush: yes!! Abhi mein aapko papa hi bhulaonga… (hugs him)
Shaan: that's good (hugs him too, Khanak is smiling)
Aayush gets ready and he's ready to go for shopping with his mom and his new dad!! Dhruv was also accompanying them…

Part 22 & 23

Part 22
Khanak had convinced Khandelwal's to come to her farmhouse for a holiday. They all had agreed to her, even they were excited with the trip. Khanak had thought of something to cheer Aayush and make him strong, she consulted Lata for this, Lata had agreed to it, but she had adviced her to be careful, Khanak had agreed to that, even Dhruv, Raj and Misha were involved in the plan, but she had not told Shaan.        She knew exactly, if she would tell him, he would reject it, so it would be a surprise for him too…
Aayush was excited to go to the farmhouse, as it was in Lonavala, Lonavala is the best place in monsoon, as it was monsoon, he would be enjoying it to the core. He remembers that Lonavala, is a hill station with lots of greenery, waterfalls are to die for… Even the streams, dams and most famous is the tiger point. He remembers that when he was small, his dadaji (Khanak's dad) had toured Lonavala with him….
It was decided that, they all were meeting early in the morning. Shaan too was excited, as he would be getting more time to spend with Khanak…
Next day morning, Khandelwal's had reached her home, she and her friends were busy in getting the bags ready, she was wearing half cotton pant, which was upto her knee and a T-Shirt with a collar, her hairs left free and shoes to complete her look. Shaan was amazed by looking at her; Shaan was wearing a white T-shirt with jeans and shoes. Our Aayush was also rocking with his best holiday clothes, shorts and t-shirt with a cap, all others were also looking cool…
3 cars would be taken, one for dadi, sunil and Madhvi, other one was for Dhruv, Raj and Misha and the last one was for Khanak, Aayush, Shaan, Akki and Boo.
Journey was started smoothly, as it was early, traffic was less, after an hour of journey, they stopped near a restaurant, for breakfast. All moved into the restaurant. Shaan and Khanak were the last one. Shaan moved near her…
Shaan: your looking like a 16 year old…(grinning)
Khanak: yeh compliment tha???
Shaan: haan!! Maine suna tha agar ek ladki ko aap kehdo ki voh bahut young lag rahi hai toh voh bahut khush ho jati hai… (moving closer to her)
Khanak: voh sab teek hai, (moving away) what are you doing??
Shaan: im waiting for my compliments… (moving closer, until she hits the rail at her back, she's not speaking)
Shaan: agar tumhe batane main problem ho rahi hai toh…(brings his cheek close to her mouth, he's smiling)
Khanak understands, she smiles and slowly moves forward and pecks him on his cheek. Shaan broadly smiles and looks at her, Khanak is shy, she bends her head down, she's smiling too…
Shaan: haaye!!! (keeps his right hand on his heart, playfully) Khanak uses the opportunity and runs from there, she enters into the restaurant. Shaan also slowly enters after her…
It's a huge table, all are seated around, and food is ordered.Aayush is sitting in between Shaan and Khanak. Shaan excuses himself to go the washroom. Khanak looks at Dhruv, who was sitting opposite to her, she winked at him, giving him the sign to start the plan, Dhruv nodded even Raj and Misha….
Dhruv: Raj, you remember na, pichli baar jab hum yaha aaye the toh kitna maza aaya tha…
Raj: haan haan!!! Yaad kyun nahi, achche tareke se yaad hai… (Aayush is attracted towards the talk)
Misha: starting with that race (dreamy look) yaad hai na Dhruv, Khanak ne tumhe haraya tha…
Khushboo: kaisa race?? (interested too)
Khanak: voh kya hai bhabhi, jab bhi hum log mom dad ke saath aate the na, me and Dhruv would have car race and last time I had won the race…(proud)
Akki: toh abb ek race hojaye?? (excited) Khanak and her friends smiled but they give an expression of fake upset…
Khanak: nahi bhaiyya!! Nahi ho sakta (upset, looks at Aayush sideways, Aayush is looking at her)
Akki and boo are upset…
Dhruv (taking it forward): haan haan!! Abb maan lo that your scared of me!!
Shaan comes at that time, all are alerted, and Shaan has no idea what's going on, he silently takes his seat.
Khanak: oh!! main kisise nahi darthi!!
Dhruv: toh phir hojaaye???
Khanak: nahi ho saktha yaar!!
Dhruv and Raj: Kyun???
Khanak: Aayush darr jayega…
Dhruv: Aayush nahi tum!! Manlo Khanak that your scared…(Shaan is amused)
Aayush gets perked up, how can he take his mom's insult…
Aayush: Nahi!! Meri mom kisise nahi darr thi!!
Sunil: correct!! Hamari Khanak kisise nahi darr thi!! Khanak beta tum race karlo, hum tumhare saath hai (does a tumbs up)
Shaan: Kaisa race??
Khanak: ek minute Shaan, lekin uncle….
Aayush: mom race karegi… (announces loudly) Khanak and her friends smile and wink at each other…
Race was decided, 2 ways were considered, Khanak takes a way and Dhruv another way, both ways makes them reach the farmhouse, distance was same, to avoid unusual accidents, this was decided.Sunil, Madvi and Dadi had left, Khanak had given them directions… Shaan still has no idea, they got seated, Khanak in the driving seat, Shaan next to her. Akki khushboo at the back seat, Aayush is safe in between them. Khanak had buckled his belt then…
Khanak: (buckling her belt) Shaan buckle your belt (akki and boo also had buckled their belt)
Shaan: why?? Abb hum city se bahar hai na…(adjusting the mirror, so that she could see Aayush)
Khanak: kar lo na (pleads) Shaan buckles his belt… On the count of three, both the cars left their way, Khanak slowly geared up…
Shaan: Khanak easy!! Slow chalao na… (Khanak is concentrating on the roads, since it was bright day,roads were not fogged up, actually, in monsoons, roads of lonavala get fogged up, raods are quite broad and empty)
Akki: Shaan let her concentrate, we have to win this!!
Shaan: what concentrate?? What win??
Khushboo: arrey Shaan we and Dhruv are having car race, and we have to win this…
Shaan: have you people gone mad!! (frustrated)
Khanak shakes her head, she's maintaining the speed limit, she's still at 90, but Shaan is feeling as though she had crossed 100…
Khanak hits the break all jerked up, they were standing in front of beautiful house, Khnak removes her belt and moves out to check on Aayush, at that time Dhruv's car also come, Sunil, madhvi and dadi came out too… Khushboo and Akshay gets out they are happy that they had won the race…
Khanak went and holded Aayush's hand, even Dhruv, Raj and Misha joined her…
Khanak: Aayush!! Aayush!! (worried)
Aayush looked at her, with a blank expression, Khanak's blood pressure had increased to the most, but…
Aayush: mom!! You won!! (yelled) Khanak was now relieved even others, Aayush hugged her, he moved away from hug moved out of the car, and he was jumping in joy outside, Khanak was happy for him… All were happy, all moved in, Shaan was still sitting in shock, Khanak moved and opened the door..
Khanak: Shaan ghar aagaya hai!! (Shaan is still, Khanak jerks him, he looks at her and moves out of the car, breathing heavily)
Khanak: Shaan easy easy!! (Rubs his back)
Shaan: arrey iss tarah koi ghaadi chalate hai kya…. (yells)
Khanak: Shaan chill!! I did this for Aayush's sake….
Shaan: Aayush!! Have you gone mad Khanak, agar kuch hojatha tho…
Khanak: kuch nahi ho tha Shaan!! I had taken safety measures… Shaan calms himself.
Shaan: (softly) Khanak, hum uske liye kuch aur soch lete na, I didn't have to take risk…
Khanak: Shaan (smiles) see we've reached…
Shaan: (lets out a long breathe) tum log bhi na!! kya yeh tumhara pehla time tha?? You know, racing??
Khanak: no Shaan!! Jab bhi hum yaha aate tho hum racing karte the, Dhruv ke dad mujhe support karthe the, aur mere dad Dhruv ko!! (with a smile)
Shaan: are you serious Khanak?? I mean your dad supported you??
Khanak: haan shaan, but we were in limits, hum dono race zaroor karte lekin we used to ride the car below 100…
Shaan: your impossible!! (shakes his head)
Khanak: are you reconsidering your decision?? (joking)
Shaan: have you gone mad?? (hold her hand) main aisa sapne mein bhi nahi soch saktha!! Khanak!! I Love You!! (smiles, Khanak smiles too)….

Part 23
Both of them had moved in, it was a beautiful house surrounded by greenery, Shaan was impressed, Khanak had felt like as though she had come back home…
Shaan:wow!!! Its really nice Khanak!! Does anyone stay here??
Khanak: thanks!! Yes!! Ramu kaka stays here, he takes care, come, u still have much more to see it.
Both of them have moved in thehouse, its quite huge, all are settled and moving around, Shaan is just beside Khanak…Aayush comes in front of them…
Aayush: Mom can we go for boating???
Khanak: (bends down) yes!! But tomorrow, I've to call for the guides… Aayush is upset, but suddenly gets cheered, goes to Shaan…
Aayush: uncle aapne swimming pool nahi dekha na, chalo mein dikhata hun (pulls him with his strength)
Shaan moves out with him, while Khanak allots room for everyone ad has got plans, meanwhile outside..
Aayush: pick me up (to Shaan, straining his head to see him)
Shaan smiles and picks him up, they are near the pool…
Aayush: uncle, main aapse kuch pooch saktha hun??
Shaan: yes!!
Aayush: aap Mom ko pasand karthe ho na??
Shaan: (surprised) Aayush!!! Khanak ne bataya tumhe???
Aayush: nahi! Lekin mujhe pata hai!! Aap mere mom ko kush rakhenge na??
Shaan: haan!! Aur aapko bhi!!
Aayush: toh aap mom se shaadi kar rahe ho?? (excited)
Shaan: yes!! kyun tum nahi chahthe??
Aayush: offcourse chahtha hun (hugs him tightly, Shaan hugs him too)
Shaan: Aayush your happy na??? (Aayush moves out of the hug)
Aayush: bahut zyaada!!! (both of them are grinning) Both of them move in…
Aayush: mom aap Shaan uncle se kab shaadi kar rahe ho??? (in front of everyone, as soon as he asks that question, everyone control their giggle, Khanak is shocked hearing the question, she closes her eyes in horror, Shaan is grinning)
 Dadi: jaldi ho jayegi!!
Shaan: haan agar tumhari mom manjaaye na, to aaj hi hojayegi, kyun khanak???
Khanak eyes flee towards him, she glares at him, he's broadly smiling, Khanak runs out from there and enters the kitchen, Shaan has followed her…
Khanak is just standing and smiling, dreaming about her marriage with Shaan, thinking of that makes her body shiver, Shaan is just behind her, she opens her eye as she could feel his breathe on her neck….
Shaan slowly hugs her from back, Khanak responds and leans back on him, Shaan makes her turn towards him she has closed her eyes. Shaan brings his fingers and feels her every features on her face, her lashes, her nose, her full lips… His touch on her lips makes her to open her eyes, he could see that she was trembling, she has completely leaned on him, her hends were holding his shirt at his waiste, both are lost in eachother eyes…
Dhruv (from outside): bhai hum bhooke mar rahe hai yaha pe… (controlling his giggle)
Hearing this Khanak moves away from him slowly, she's smiling, Shaan is frustrated…. He pulls her back, Khanak is shocked, she tries to push him, but he's too strong for her…
Khanak: Shantanu!! Shaan is surprised hearing that, but still won't move a bit…
Shaan: haan Khanak!! (broadly smiling)
Khanak: shayad aapne suna nahi!! Voh…. she's stopped by him, as he had kept his index finger on her lips, he lingers on her lower lip, his eyes focused on her lips, her toes curl at his touch, both are very close to each other…
Aayush (from outside): Mom!!! (screams) Khanak and Shaan are horrified!! They quickly get off each other and runs outside in unison….
Outside Aayush is jumping in joy, all are happy, Shaan and Khanak are puzzled, Aayush sees them, comes near Khanak, pulls her down and hugs her tightly….
Khanak: Aayush kya hua?? Sab teek hai na?? (pulls him out of the hug)
Aayush: Mom aapki aur Shaan uncle ki engagement date fix hogayi!! (excited)
Shaan is happy even Khanak too, Dadi comes near her, she stands up…
Dadi: beta humne paanch din ke baad date fix kiya hai, teek hai na?? (with a smile)
Khanak is shy, she bends her head down and nods lightly, Dadi hugs her, all are happy, even her friends too…
Sunil: chalo bhai kuch kaa lete hai, bahut bhook lagi hai!! All move towards the dining, everything is gujju…Ramu kaka is standing next to the table and smiling…
Khanak: how sweet kaka aapko yaad tha!! (gushes)
Everyone take their seats, Shaan and Khanak find each one of them next to each other, Aayush is next to Khanak….
Shaan: yeh sab?? (looking at the food)
Khanak: this is tepla, dhokla, khandavi…. Pata hai tepla with aachar is the best…(dreamy)
Shaan: wow!! Maine kabhi try nahi kiya!!
Khanak: abb try karlo!! (she serves him slowly, everyone enjoys the food)
Evening also went smoothly with corn pakoda, as it was cold, all enjoyed and Khanak had took everyone around the farmhouse, as they had grape vegetation behind, they  had a good walk, since ramu kaka was talking about everything, Shaan and Khanak were left behind, Aayush was enjoying his time with Akshay… Shaan and Khanak had held hands all the way, the group had decided to give them privacy…
After everyone returned all had been tired, but Shaan was not, they all had dinner, it was decided that tomorrow they'll be exploring it, everyone went to bed early…
Khanak, Aayush and Misha in one room. Shaan was not able to sleep, he slowly stepped into Khanak's room, saw her sleeping with Aayush, had a sudden wish of getting into the bed next to her, but stopped himself, moved towards her side, slowly near her…
Shaan: Khanak!! (wispers) Khanak stirred in sleep…
Shaan: Khanak!! (sweetly and lightly shakes her) Khanak opened her eyes slowly, she's shocked, she gasps and sits on the bed…
Khanak: Shaan!!! (horrified)
Shaan: aaram se bolona, chalo na bahar chalthe hai!! (casually standing)
Khanak: Shaan!! You've gone mad (stands in front of him)
Shaan: voh toh tabhi hogaya tha, jab maine tumhe pehli baar dekha tha!!! Abb chalo… (brings her out, not allowing her to talk)
Outside the room,
Khanak: ek minute Shaan!! Main kuch lati hun, bahar bahut tand hai!! (turns to go in, Shaan stops her)
Shaan: main hoon na!!! (Khanak is confused, Shaan holds her hand and brings her near the pool, it was so cold she moves closer to him, rubbing her arms and yawning) Shaan smiles at her. He coolly sits down, and inserts his legs inside the water in the pool, as though he's used to this weather, offcourse he was staying in London, waha par tho isse zyaada tand hogi na, Khanak smacks her head, but she's not used to, she feeling very cold…
Shaan: sit down Khanak!! Makes space between his legs….
Khanak: you must be joking!! Mein yahi bet jaati hun (makes an attempt of sitting next to him, but Shaan pulls her hardly that she lands in between his legs and her legs inside the water, Khanak shrieks because of the cold water, hugs her legs to her upper body)
Shaan: Khanak kuch nahi hoga, leave your legs!!
Khanak: pagal hogaye ho!!! Kitna thand hai!! Aisa tho mere legs ka saare vessels(arteries and veins) clot hojayenge (pouts sweetly)
 Shaan: dumbo ki tarah baat mat karo!! Tumhari body ke liye jo heat chaiyiye voh main dedoonga… (Khanak is confused, Shaan slowly releases her legs and they get inserted into the water)
Before Khanak could ask further any questions, Shaan had hugged her closely, his chin resting on her shoulder, Khanak could sense that he was nuzzling her neck, her hair sticking to his face, she has closed her eyes, Shaan getting himself familiar to her fragrance….
Khanak: Shaan!! Why I am sensing some trouble?? Shaan laughs throatly, and hugs her tightly…
Shaan: Khanak I was scared!!! (lloking at her from side)
Khanak: during car race!! (Suppresses her giggle)
Shaan: nahi jab Aayush told that you were not spending enough time with him!! Khanak is silently hearing…
Shaan interlinks his fingers with her…
Shaan continues, I was scared that you would regret the decision of getting along with me, his hold tightens…
Shaan makes her turn towards him, sideways…
Shaan: Khanak I can't think of a life without you!! Khanak couldn't answer that, she gently cupped his face raised herself and pecked him on his forehead, slowly comes down, Shaan makes her sit on his lap, her legs crossed sideways, both are looking into each oter eyes, intensely, Shaan's hand is now on her waiste, pulls her towards him, Khanak shivers at his touch, Shaan slowly moves his face towards her, seeking her permission, she closes her eyes, raises her head and parts her lips, giving him permission, Shaan gets it, closes the distance between him and her, by slowly kisses her on her lips, he covers his lips on her lower lips, she arched her back, Shaan holds her tightly, Khanak's hand is holding his shoulders tightly….
